Metal Products Division

In this area, we have five business units: "Heat Exchanger Materials A," "Heat Exchanger Materials B," "Non-Ferrous Products," "Store, Housing and Building Materials" and "Special Steel." We handle the full range of metal products, with primary focus on aluminum, copper, steel and building materials. We have a business model that satisfies the increasingly sophisticated needs of our customers, responding to the rapid globalization of their businesses by putting in place systems for immediate delivery of materials both in Japan and in other countries. We are also working to increase corporate value with greater participation in the management of businesses in which we are joint investors.

Metal Trading Division

This area has three business units, "Aluminum Metal," "Aluminum Alloys and Recycling" and "Copper and Tin." We handle a wide range of products, focusing on primary aluminum ingots but extending to primary aluminum alloy, billets, secondary alloys, scrap, and copper and tin ingots. We make use of derivatives trading to ensure stable supplies of ingots at competitive prices.

Metal Materials Division

This division has five business units: "Non-ferrous Materials," "Ferrous Raw Materials," "Rare Metals A," "Rare Metals B" and "Non-ferrous Logistics." Each of these business units brings information networks, dynamism and broad sourcing capacity to bear in addressing the increasingly diverse needs of society. We work to address the broad, globalized need for metal distribution and logistics in an integrated manner, seeking to provide better services to our customers as a leader in the industry.

Non-Ferrous Meterials

This business unit handles non-ferrous metal ingots (primarily lead and zinc) and non-ferrous metal compounds like chromium oxide, zinc oxide etc.

Ferrous Raw Materials And Minerals

This business unit covers a broad field, sourcing from around the world and supplying consistently the silicon and manganese ferroalloys that are essential sub-materials in steelmaking, as well as the rare metal raw materials for special steel.

Rare Metal A Business Unit

This business unit's primary products are rare earths and tungsten. "Rare earths" have been described as the "vitamins" of industry.

Rare Metal B Business Unit

This business unit has two teams, battery materials and functional materials.

Non-ferrous Logistics

This business unit handles domestic transportation and export/import of heavy material such as non-ferrous metal ingots (copper, lead, zinc) and non-ferrous products (wires, wrought copper products).
